Rescue Remedy for Stressful Times

 

Stressful times require simple means Rescue Remedy aka "Rusty Root" and a little bit of prayer. What a combo! Both helped me survive the passing of both my parents in three months time. It is also safe for pets....a little vet anxiety maybe?!
Raising a family of multi-generational kids requires a bit of flexibility, a cooperative effort and great faith and trust that you have positively influenced your children and that they will make their way through adulthood as positive contributors to this world with visions of peace and unity.

OK, this was the freakin' photo that I've waited to take all summer long. At the tail end of our hike, when Jerry and I separated from our crazy wild youngins' I was able to hear the faint sound of the bag piper. Running for all I was worth toward the sound a crowd quickly gathered, the dimming light of day cast a shadow along the cliff. From afar I quickly snapped a shot. Another try bit closer rendered a message that I needed to recharge my battery. No problem...a good photographer always carries a spare. On the edge of busy Route 3, I rifled through my camera bag and inserted the back-up. It was SO dead that it did not provide me a message that I needed to charge the battery.

So...this image does not meet my high standards, but it will have to do. And once home I went right for the electrical outlet with charger and battery in hand.
