Each morning Maxie, the cat steps on me-sometimes on my face to reach the loving embace of my husband. This is a daily exercise in fortitude (for me)...an exercise in mouthing my mantra: " I am worthy and worthwhile. I count." For a few minutes each day, I do not exist...for there is only the love of one human and one feline. Priceless.
