A Fierce Sky

What is it about the sky, the clouds and the sun that intrigue? I was called out into the field to take a few shots. Well worth it.

Farm House-Aroostook County

This was a drive-by shot. My husband once in the car wants to go, go, go. So...I take my shots when I can zooming by in a fast moving vehicle. This again is among my favorites. The house standing alone in an expansive field....and that ominous sky sets a tone.

A Man and His Dog

This image was taken in Fort Kent Maine overlooking the river and into Canada. Our passports need renewal so Canada looked a LONG way off! This photo is among my favorites of the summer.

Travels Downeast

The highlight of this trip involved a little boy at play. As we drove along in our little car, he interrupted his play with a friend and yelled, "I like you's car!" This was our first road trip in our little car: Eastport, Maine. The location was chosen so we could partake of the festivities that come with visiting Raye's Mustard on National Mustard Day. My palate was loaded with sensations, while Jerry simply browsed the shop. His dislike of vinegar has limited his experiences!

A First: Horseback Riding Lesson

For years, I have been trying to talk a wee girl into riding horses. Finally, finally she thought she would like to try it out. And try it out she did. My friend Jenny, who so graciously offered to teach her to ride said that she's a natural. It makes a Mumma happy when her children discover a passion. It is that passion that will feed us and sustain us through this journey of life.
