Hanging On!
In the Northeast we anticipate our first big snow storm on Monday. Still, some are just hanging onto the golden days of fall.
"Oven Baked" on Friday Nights
Each Friday eve after a long day of work, I can count on fresh oven baked pizza from the corner store. The presentation(my son, the chef concerns himself with such details) is on CARDBOARD. I allow myself that luxury one day a week.

Patient Posing
Here are a couple Lens Baby portraits. Fortunately, some of my children are not shy. They love the camera!

Can't Get the Sox Out of the Girl!
This time of year, many people count how many days until Christmas. I count how many days 'til opening day, when I hear the cry: "Play ball!"

Not Just Another Dog Photo
Look at this! Priceless...I know Ozzie has been getting a lot of attention on my blog, but I couldn't resist this shot. I love the hair framing my daughter's face. And..Ozzie can be aloof at times!
Anyone Home?
Peep hole photo. At a family gathering over Thanksgiving weekend, we all had a grand time with this simple lens.
Listen to Me!
Cousins goofing! Whenever our families can gather together-it is a good thing. I just adored my cousins when I was a kid. Our times together were precious. I hope my kids feel the same and will cherish these moments.
And the Eyes Have It
You can tell so much by just gazing into someone's eyes. Here are the cousins reunited after a long absence.
Tis the Season
This photo was taken by my dear brother in law. He is an electronics junkie and had fun with my new camera. Tis the season to share electronics and to MOVE over and let someone else have a bit of the spotlight.

Lunch Anyone?
This being among my first peep hole shots, I am hooked. You can't help, but laugh. I told my friend Jeff that these shots reminded me of being trapped in a SNOW GLOBE! Happy Holidays everyone.

Once a Pond
A severe storm in April 2007 blew out the beaver dams that held the water in this former pond. It is now drained. My daughter asked, "Now where are we to skate?!"
Symmetry in Nature
As I strolled along on our walk in the woods this morning, this sole leaf beckoned to be captured through the lens. On the return home, I was instructed by my oldest daughter not to take anymore photographs of leaves or anything. Camera in hand...it heightens the senses. Of course, I don't want to miss a thing.
Husband and Father
I am grateful for my wonderful family especially my husband who approaches life with much love, generousity and always a touch of humor. There is much to be thankful for on this Thanksgiving Day.
With Thanksgiving

Ominous Sky
The forecast is a mix of snow and rain...shall we stay in for Thanksgiving??!! I'd rather have all snow...then I can get in some sledding shots. When I was nine, one of the biggest snow storms I remember occured on Thanksgiving Day. Following dinner, my father and I drove Auntie and Gene downtown to catch a bus back to Portland. At the bus stop we had to have an army shovel us out and push us out of the mountain of snow we fish-tailed into. Knowing my father, he would have preferred saner, safer memories of his Thanksgiving afternoon.
