Gotcha!
Previewing these photos it was clear that I got excited and shook the camera, but this shot came out. The deer must sense the pending storm.

I Did Nothing To This Image Either!
This is in honor of my fellow photographer Jeff Kirlin. He might never talk to me again-he USED to be my friend. It drives him absolutely mad when I mention that I didn't have to edit or crop a photo.

Wild Rose
A huge expanse of wild roses line either side of the Acadia National Park hiking trail at Wonderland. This area truly is a wonder any season you visit.

Family Portrait Sequence
I love these photos because of the adoration that these devoted men have for the littlest girl in their life. It is so very sweet.

Apple Pickin' Time
It's apple pickin time in Orange New Jersey and we'll make a peach of a pear. Oh you cantalope on a banana wagon, or you'll mango your toes, squash!
Sorry...when Jerry and I talked last night about going apple picking today (this last summer day), I couldn't help but sing the above goofy song I learned in Girl Scouts. I'm always in a good mood when I sing!!!!!

Moon at Sunset
Driving the boys home from the high school tonight, I gasped at the sight of the moon. It nearly filled the sky. As I drove to the cove to take a photo, the grandeur of the moon diminished greatly as it appeared beautifully full, but puny. I guess I never learned about this phenomena and wonder if it has to do with the curve of the earth. Am I showing my lack of scientific knowledge and experience because I attended Catholic school with no Science classes?

A Little Ray of Sunshine
I changed my mind about sunflowers-I like them now. Sunshine makes me smile. They remind me of the sun.

Photos of Strangers?
Most of my photos in San Jose were taken from the perch of Olman's taxi. (I was a bit disappointed.) As we sped through these narrow streets, I was taken with the colors of these buildings, the painted facade and the texture of the nearby structures. Jerry was so embarassed and asked why I was taking photos of strangers. Frankly I was perplexed by that question. There is so much more in the photo than strangers. Although this is not the best shot composition wise, I still like it. And since I AM the photographer I can like anything I want. Control problem? Not me.

Tumbling on the Lawn
I remember spending hours and hours tumbling on my lawn trying to master some major gymnastics moves-at least they were major to me! So, it was reassuring to see my far more coordinated daughter persistantly trying to navigate her body through a head stand. She ended with this great smile. SWEET.
To School
As we traveled to our destination by taxi, we followed this father and daughter presumably on the way to school. Notice the father has his daughter's little character lunch box slung over his arm as they are motoring along. This was taken from the back seat of the taxi through the wind shield. Not too bad of an image under those conditions. It was so cute...I needed to try it.
