My daughter having participated in the "Reader Dog" program at her school knew what to do with Rusty on this Labor Day...read and read and read some more. I myself have been immersed in a novel by Christina Baker Kline that takes place on MDI. As I attacked the layers of dust in my house these past few days, I paused to savor the image of what was to come. The pure enjoyment of reading a book from cover to cover in one day because you just can't do anything else. Even the prospect of watching the Red Sox cannot draw me from this read entitiled, "The Way Life Should Be." Thank you for the day of escape Christina!!!!
