This little store/restaurant had a little of everything. Stopping here half way through our bus ride to Boruca, we split a wonderful empanada and each had a savored cup of coffee in a small plastic cold cup.
The bus transportation in Costa Rica is very inexpensive. It cost us about $6.00 each to travel from San Jose to Boruca which is a six hour bus ride.
On the return trip, there was a landslide that detoured the bus and extended the trip to about 10 hours. If this had happened in the United States we would have heard many complaints, but everyone traveled well taking it all in stride. We were humbled with the patience and kindness of the Costa Rican people.
