See this block? It is a little piece of Downeast Americana. Soon it will make way for some Marriott or something. SAD. I like the small, quaint and unusual.
I'm stunned that Bar Harbor would allow it. Money must be talking somewhere. Has this been in the newspaper at all? I've been out of town and am a week or so behind in reading the paper.
Bar Harbor is just not the same it was years ago. We know the tenants in a couple of these buildings. And they were told they would be leveled soon, although I heard someone else say that they heard a rumor that they were waiting until the summer. Who knows??
