The old time country fair on Labor Day weekend is a tradition that our nearly now adult children insist upon. Each year we exchange family tales of bygone years of fair going. How my mother loved this event. To be sure "grammy stories" were predominately weaved through our afternoon bringing laughter and smiles. How I miss her and the zest she had for adventure and individualism. She taught us well.
