With the sea,
Birds aloft trees calling.
Engage
Breathe
Take it all in.
It is time to stop and notice
The way your hand
Feels in mine,
The shuffle of your step
Weighty in winter boots
Yet quick
Purposeful.
It is just us
Walking by the sea,
The forest thick
Birds flitter
And sing
Nearby.
